Fui a correr el maratón y apesar de que no estaba cerca del Loop! estuvo muy bien ubicado, ya que el metro está a 8 min caminando y llegas perfecto al loop y a todo lo turístico de Chicago. El alojamiento tiene todo lo que necesitas, y está muy cómodo. La cama y las almohadas, deliciosas, el baño impecable, y la cocina tiene todo para que puedas cocinar. Seguro regreso!

Spectacular location, nine minute walk to the train. Love the TV, the beds, & the throw blankets. My daughter and I switched pillows because I thought mine were too hard & she thought hers were too soft, then they were just perfect. Kitchen cupboards above the stove could use a deep clean. There are some dark spots around the shower/tub area ceiling. My daughter was concerned as to whether that was mold. Neither my husband (reached out to him with photos), nor I, know enough. By the time we arrived, it was after 10 and raining out & I figured whatever it is, it wouldn’t kill us. I would suggest Jay to get bigger, nicer shower towels. They don’t cost very much and can make a huge impression on your guests.
Jay’s place is great for the budget traveler. The beds were amazingly comfortable and since we are late sleepers we liked that it’s pretty dark inside and the sun didn’t come blazing in to wake us up. Despite some cosmetic issues like mold stains and cracked paint in the bathroom, it was overall clean and well appointed. We loved the unique coffee table and woodwork! The neighborhood felt safe and it’s very close to the L stop although it’s not a handicapped stop so if you have large luggage you have to lug it up stairs since there’s no elevator. Very convenient for getting around the city after check in though. Also we liked that we could opt for a late checkout for a small fee. We would definitely stay again.
